SofTech's Support Services organization is comprised of dedicated team of technical support engineers, consultants, and trainers who are ready to assist you, answer your questions, work with you on a consultancy basis, or meet your training needs. For help or information on these services, there are several ways to reach us depending on your needs and location:

Customer Support

Sometimes problems and questions just can't wait. You need answers right away to avoid costly delays. Help Desk support is the answer.

A HelpDesk support contract covers you for 1 full year and includes:

  • Toll-free number (800) 280-0240 in the U.S. and Canada
  • Unlimited number of calls. You will never incur pay-per-incident charges or additional fees.
  • Fast response time - always in 1 hour or less a technician is assigned and working on your problem.
  • Full-time, expert staff of technicians available from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Eastern Time Monday through Friday
  • Personal and professional service - not an automated call answering system!

If you require immediate support to resolve a critical problem, HelpDesk support is recommended. For other problems, questions, suggestions for enhancements that do not require immediate response, send them to our dedicated SofTech AMT product support e-mail address. Be sure to include any sample data or project files to help us reproduce any problems you might be having. Our ftp site is available to upload large data sets that may be problematic to attach to an e-mail. Every e-mail to our support address is answered the same day by return e-mail.

Software Support Contracts

A software support contract is an annual subscription that entitles you to:

  • All software updates to SofTech AMT products published during the term of the agreement. Software update includes one set of media and one set of release notes. Software updates typically include product enhancements, corrective maintenance and other technical modifications.
  • Access to Service Packs for SofTech AMT products. Service Packs are downloaded hot-fixes that are made available in between releases to correct serious problems that can not wait for a full release.
  • Phone and e-mail support to assist customer with questions or problems specifically related to the installation and licensing of software updates.
  • No cost replacement of a defective Hardware Lock for any license.
  • No cost license transfer for one (1) UNIX to UNIX license transfer per supported UNIX license during the term of the agreement.
  • Access to a dedicated e-mail address: amt-support@softech.com – to report software problems and request software enhancements.
  • Software support contracts are renewed annually. If you have let your contract expire and wish to renew, call us at: (888) 294-9450 for details on reinstatement
Training Services

Standard training programs are available to get new users up to speed fast. Check with your local reseller for their current class schedule. For customers serviced directly by SofTech, call our Help Desk for details on training dates.

Consulting Services

Application Engineering (A.E.) Services contract is a very popular program with our customers. Blocks of 5 or 10 A.E. days can be purchased on an annual basis. You decide when to consume the days and what is to be accomplished. Contact SofTech at info@softech.com for more information.
