SofTech to Kickoff ProductCenter Regional User Forum Series

Customers Share Ingenuity and Communicate Real Benefits and ROI Achieved with ProductCenter

TEWKSBURY, Mass. — October 2, 2003 — SofTech, Inc. (OTCBB: SOFT), a leading provider of design-through-manufacturing productivity solutions, announced the kickoff of its SofTech 2003 ProductCenter Regional User Forum beginning October 7, 2003. Each one of the nine User Forums will be held at key locations across the United States throughout October and early November 2003.

Although the forums will include information on advancements to SofTech’s ProductCenter collaborative product data management (PDM) solution, along with product roadmap to help with technology planning, this event is primarily a user forum, with customer presentations, and informal talks and exchanges among users. The forums provide an ideal opportunity for companies using ProductCenter to share experiences and ingenuity to further optimize their ProductCenter implementations and extend its benefits.

ProductCenter customers will share specific ‘how-to’ insight into how they use ProductCenter to solve real world product challenges and to streamline their product development. These presenters bring a wealth of product lifecycle management (PLM) experience to the conference that will benefit attendees in further maximizing their PLM efforts. Topics covered will include:

  • Document Management

  • Integrating CAD Environments

  • Automating Change Management with Workflow

  • Streamlining Bills of Material (CAD to BOM and BOM to ERP)

  • ProductDashboard Web Access and PDM Portal Customization
“ We’re essentially bringing an abbreviated ProductCenter customer conference to a location near you,” states Jay Pappas, ProductCenter product manager. “This is an ideal opportunity to learn, exchange information, and form valuable business relationships with industry peers, as well as catch up on the latest ProductCenter advancements, in just a few hours of your time.”

Locations and dates for the Fall 2003 ProductCenter User Forum, along with on-line conference registration forms, can be found on the SofTech Web site at www.softech.com. There is no charge to attend.
